Church during Covid-19

St. Timothy's Bishop and Trinity Lone Pine are doing all that we can to maintain a safe and healthy place of worship. Please help us by doing the following:

The first step of precaution is to encourage the vulnerable among us to stay at home and worship with us online.  We will be streaming the services (on our Facebook page) and the elderly and those with pre-existing conditions are encouraged to participate in this way.

Second, we need to self-monitor before coming to service.  If you feel sick, or have a cold, please stay home.  The bishop wants us each to check our temperatures before coming to church.  If we have even a slight fever, please stay home.  And also if you have been exposed to someone with the virus recently, please worship from home.  Wash hands before coming to service, and avoid touching our faces.  The bishop is also asking everyone to wear face masks.

You will see the following posted at church upon entry:
1. Please stay at home if you feel sick, have been exposed to COVID 19, or are part of a vulnerable population.
2. Wear a mask. If you don’t have a mask one will be provided to you.
3. Please use hand sanitizer upon entering the church.
4. Sit at least 6 feet apart unless sitting with family living in the same home. Family not living in the same home
need to sit six feet apart.
5. Please no sharing of prayer books, hymnals, or passing of the collection plate.
6. Please no physical contact with anyone while in the service or on the grounds of the church.

We will also be opening doors to keep the church ventilated when possible, and only distributing the bread to those that are in their seats.
With these and other precautions we are can expect to enjoy our worship together and to keep one another healthy.  Thank you for participating in this collective effort.
